I agree! I think if they move quickly moving forward then they will be able to stay ahead and move in the right direction for them.

Consolidation is almost always inevitable...
Can't think of a mature technology where the companies behind it haven't merged significantly after the technology became mainstream. There must be an economic term for consolidation in a market after early hype and investments settle down....

I think SD-WAN could prove really useful in spots where capacity goes up only certain times. Having software capabilities to route connectivity to these areas (think stadiums) is really good business.
