One of the things Randy said during the interview is that this is particularly challenging because in most cases the legacy platform is performing just fine. So replacing something that is broken is one thing. Replacing something that is stable with something that might be cheaper and better can be a greater leap.

@dcawrey I would say it due to the reason human nature we all resist change... and transition never easy as a process...

In any transition like this, users generally start out pretty unhappy. They don't like change mostly because they already have a workflow. New technologies and systems always change that, and it's an annoyance at the user level. That's always going to be a concern during a transition.
