Yup, besides strong brand, also looking at their capabilities it is pretty confident that they will do good in SD-WAN.

You made good points about high speed service, lower prices and multiple locations. I agree that AT&T offerings will be well received among enterprise world for good reasons like their long standing networking, virtualization abilities.

Absolutely, having all the right underlying frameowrk in areas of networking, virtualization, security etc AT&T should go further with SD-WAN efforts.

@elizabethv: FWIW, in an interview I did w/ Level 3's CMO, Anthony Christie, he used the much more neutral phrase "eat our own cooking". That wording should make everybody happy, ne c'est pas?

@Joe - Maybe the cake is dry. :-) Just kidding. It's probably good that they don't share the phrase with customers. They'd likely struggle with accepting the phrase just as much as this message thread has.

@elizabethv: Sure, but if you're eating your own cake, what's going to make anyone in your organization think that there's anything wrong with it or that it needs to be improved upon?

That's why they don't call it "dogfood" to the customers -- but they do refer to it that way internally. ;)

@dcawrey: That's the whole point of the saying. If it's on par with actual dogfood, why in the world would an average human customer consume it? The idea here is to compel the organization and its employees to "eat its own dogfood" until they improve it to the point where it's not dogfood anymore (or, at least, it's really good dogfood). ;)
