Most things in business are a balancing act. This article was great and really informative. It's important also to have a balance between getting a product out there fast and taking time to make a product great.

@dcawrey, I agree. It is definitely a balancing act. This is because most companies infrastructure is piece-milled and has not been fully overhauled. As a result it can never keep up with the demand or the tech companies.

@afwriter, That is key. Companies should always clearly highly the benefifts to companies and customers. I agree this was a great interview. Sometimes the benefits of a product are unclear but this article nailed it.

I'd say it's impossible for most companies' infrastructure teams to keep up with the mammouth tech companies. They can do it at a scale few other organizations are capable of.
