Re: Cloud Evolution
Very true. I think it’s an awesome concept, but you’re right. Many beauticians would lose a lot of work and from that a lot of money. Alone with hair colored products you see in stores.

Re: Cloud Evolution
There is a huge, I’m talking YUGE ;) market for a real “cure” for gray hair. People are willing to throw money away on snake oil essentially on the mere chance that it works. There is also a tremendous market to be lost - think of all the hair color companies and hair colorists that would stand to lose millions or billions of dollars. It makes sense that an immunological drug would restore hair color if you think about it in terms of the body healing itself.

In a related story, a fingerprint test that detects someone's gender, what they've eaten, or even if they've used a condom is 'set for court use’ in a matter of months. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-41525517

Re: Cloud Evolution
Erasal of finger prints......am hearing this as a side effects of chemo for the first time. I am aware of many others but not this one. Most of the side effects are really painful to go through, I have witneesed a close family member going through. Hopefully there willl be more advancemnets in science where the treatment becomes less painful.

Re: Cloud Evolution
@mhh: I was just speaking to someone today who recently switched to a new cancer drug for her breast cancer and is doing much better in handling the treatment. Her prior drug had a boatload of side effects that were causing her to be in agony every day.

At the same time, she related to me that her doctor told her that five to seven years ago, he wouldn't have had *any* drug for her or been able to offer her any hope whatsoever.

Re: Cloud Evolution
There are some instances of that happening with other drugs, Viagra was originally developed for blood pressure (I think) and of course that is not what it is being used for now. It's funny how many things have accidentally been discovered with science and technology.

Re: Cloud Evolution
Yikes. There are a lot of crazy side effects for chemo. I hadn't heard of fingerprints being erased!

Some of the side effects sound like they could be useful though.. if only the drugs could be used to only get the side effect and not the other main effects.

@mhh: Chemotherapy is reported to have this effect (although it doesn't so much change fingerprints as erase them).

@mhhf1ve OK now I looked it up and found this: https://www.veridiumid.com/blog/biometric-mythbusters-erasing-fingerprints/

After listing the various Painful sounding ways of removing one's fingerprints, it had only this to say about alerting them: "Is it possible to change your fingerprints? The short answer is yes, but the long answer is much more complicated and nowhere near as easy as popular media leads us to believe. "
