I'm all for anything mobile in a way for MWC because 5G will e something huge and valuable for them so it will continue to make more progress and expand to more countries and companies etc.

Transformation Progress
I feel like transformation dominated a big part of industry news at the beginning of last year before 5G took over, but this year is when we are really going to see companies put their money where their mouth is.

Transformation Center Stage at MWC
"Hong Kong network operator HKT also announced the establishment of the Digital Transformation Practice Center (DTPC), a place for it to share the lessons learned from its own digital business transformation journey. The center will open in mid-2018 in Hong Kong, welcoming operators from across the globe, who are all at different stages of the transformation process, to benefit from its experiences."

I predict Hong Kong network operator HKT will rise up from the shadows to become a major worldwide player in the coming years with its DTPC, and other advancements in digital transformation.

Re: Transformation Center Stage at MWC
@srufolo1 - I completely agree, DTPC sounds like it is really going to set HKT apart from other companies. Especially since it is inviting others to join them in creating services that are more customer centric. China is definitely at the forefront of technological advances and paving the way for collaborations in technology.

@elizabethv Yes, I've barely heard mention of this company, and look how it is differentiating itself. I'm sure we'll hear more from HKT in the future.

Re: Transformation Center Stage at MWC
@srufolo1, I heard it from you first!  Sounds very possible!  They are definitely advancing the use and in teaming with Huawei's platform and transportation plans, appear to have a running start.  This will be interesting to watch!

I don't see the US as being the leaders, we may have to play catchup!

@batye, true - not only wiill we be left behind, but without the ability and/or tools to compete - that makes it that much worse!  So you can fit the battles with a sword and shield or with high-tech weapons - your choice!  (A little analogy!)

@DHagar yes I see your point and could not agree more... but in Canada we live in too many of liberal ideas...
