Re: There is such thing as a challenge
Exactly right. 5G wireless is expanding into frequencies that are easily blocked by things like walls. So covering the interior of a large building would be somewhat difficult to do, but not impossible-- depending on the layout.

There is such thing as a challenge
Another way for cable companies to benefit from 5G is through how they serve the multiple dwelling unit (MDU) market. Right now, it's often challenging to reach these buildings and serve the large number of separate subscribers inside, but using 5G antennas for the last mile to reach a building and propagate inside of it is a good opportunity for cable companies, Peterson says.

I think this is an awesome use for 5G but haven't we already heard that the frequency is having problems penetrating buildings? Having 5G antennas serving the last mile seems counterproductive if they indeed cannot get a reliable signal into the building.

Upside for 5G in Cable
I think that 5G will be a boost for cable when people want to connect wifi to view cable is great because 5G has more data capabilities etc. I also think that it will make things easier for them as there is a maket for it because it will make companies lots of money and beneficial for consumers or customers.
