Re: Future: Tense
We are witnessing another AI milestone as an algorithm that can beat an expert Go player now exists:

https://googleblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/alphago-machine-learning-game-go.html

Go has been the game to beat for many decades now... and it's just about to be at the level where it will reliably beat over 99% of humans.

Re: Future: Tense
I think everyone (all humans!) can agree that living people should have a say in how our society functions -- even if we accept some advice/help from artificial intelligence...

mpouraryan, you are right it is all discovery.  But if anyone can figure it out and make it work, I am betting you can!

Re: Future: Tense
bayte, good insights.  Yes, it is almost a continual state of discovery.  You only know what you know now and based on yesterday, but tomorrow things can and will change and you have to learn more or totally rethink what you thought you knew!

It is an exciting time and you are either "in the game" or becoming obsolete - as you state.  That will keep us learning!

Re: Future: Tense
@DHagar  Thank you, but this day we must take everything with grain of salt as education on line could be a good one... or just time spend/lost... sad reality of internet...
