Re: about people
@Adi, I am with you on this - this is great news. I believe it represents a real break-through in the realization of the value from digital investments and data. Let's hope this is the appetizer and that they are hungry for more.
Re: about people
Yesterday I received an email from an employee at a large service provider overseas. He mentioned a session on machine learning with other service providers who were further along in the process. Among other things, he said this: "It was also interesting to see that these successes didn't come from CIO departments as they are more a blocking factor is this transformation."

Re: about people
@Adi I was just talking to somoene about real time analytics yesterday. And he also observed that the marketers are the ones who want the data on what's happening now and how to reach customers effectively. Others are more used to looking at data after the fact for quarterly reports and the like.

about people
<digital transformation is now about people first and technology second>
Pretty interesting finding, as with the fact that CMOs and CEOs are leading digital transformations. That seems to me the right way round, especially when you look at the fact that 71% of respondents rated understanding the new customer as the greatest challenge.
The other interesting fact here is the number of C-titled executives in industry today. CEO, CFO, CMO, CTO, CIO, CDO, CXO.....whew!!
