Re: about people
People first – an interesting perspective.

This is true. While CIOs and CTOs are focused on process and infrastructure, CMOs are much more outward facing. Digital isn't easy, but it can be done more completely when you consider the human aspects.

Re: about people
@DHagar - That's a great point. Once the company as a whole sees the benefit in the changes made by CMO's, they will embrace the direction and technology much more completely. No business doesn't like to make money. :-)

Re: about people
@elizabethv, thanks!  I see this as the real untapped potential in ROI.  We can keep it under wraps or unleash its true value.  The opportunity to realize greater profits should drive further user value.

CMOS Lead Digital
Great information about digital transformation. Good article on the progress being made in the U.S and abroad.

Glad to see that CMOs are taking charge versus always the CIO or CTO. Almost twice as many CMOs are leading the digital transformation efforts.

I believe it was always about people first and then technology second.  CIOs believe it is about technology first then people second.

Yes, Im pleased to see the chnages happenig in the US. And I loved what you said about the people coming first and the technology coming second. I fully agree with you and think it should always be this way.
