@ms.akkineni wife still uses cd player almost everyday... on weekends we using our old LP player to play very old records from 1970-80 :)

I miss my CD player so much. Few years ago i remember I copied few of my favourite tracks to CD and then use to run on repeat on my drive to work. That use to be amazing.

@ms.akkineni not alone at all, in my car wife and I still using tape deck adapter to send audio from mp3 player to the car stereo :) old school :) ps: my local Dollar Tree store still sells this tape adapters ...

I remember using a tape deck with an iPod because that was the only way to get an audio input into my car system..
You are not alone, I use to do exact same thing. Interesting to recall those time.

CD players are already being phased out of original equipment for cars... for precisely the reason that fewer and fewer users have CDs nowadays.
I remember using a tape deck with an iPod because that was the only way to get an audio input into my car system. (There used to be tape adapters that basically acted as an audio input device.) Now it's Bluetooth or USB connections in cars.... (and Apple will probably kill the standard audio jack soon, too)
