Similar thoughts, I have mixed feelings. Being a technology person i would prefre not to give up and that side of me making me lean more towards hope.

It is quiet interstig to know that there are places where AT&T doesn't offer wifi service. This makes me think that - no wonder there is lot to be caught up with. Just having a feature alone is not going to help but make that accessibe is what the real key is. Till that point consumer is not experiencing any value out of it. I certainly agree that there could be many valid barriers why we still aren't there.

@ms.akkineni AT&T is making lots of changes. It's moving along with VR and with its DirectTV and before long it will be offering Wi-Fi everywhere. Right now, I think they offer it in Florida. It seems like such a no-brainer.

Cybersecurity Attacks
I am not surprised by the statistics. Companies do not enforce their policies, don't have any policies, do not properly train employees on security measures or are lacking effective and current security software and tools.
I worked in IT security for 6 years and you would not believe how many companies have not updated their security patches and opearting systems. Some were behind 5 to 6 versions and were in shock when a cyber attack occurred. LOL!

Cyber attacks spam
In some instances spam phishing emails result in a cyber attack due to users not reading the entire email to identify red flags that indicate it is a phishing email, lack of common sense, not verifying the sender of the email or verifying URLs that appear in the email or assuming that all emails received are valid.

@srufolo1, they are waiting for a cyber attack. Security is not a high priority for most companies and most are reactive instead of proactive which costs ten times more to fix than being proactive and implementing effective security measures.

@dcawrey, I agree. I am glad that companies spend that much money to combat spam. No one would ever be able to perform their job or communicate with others via emai and everything would slow down to a crawl due to jammed servers filled with spam.

@elizabethv, good questions. I wonder the same thing. The percentage is much lower for free email accounts such as gmail, outlook/live and yahoo.

@elizabethv, oh wow. Verizon is the most expensive carrier. I thought about switching to Verizon but decided against it. I am glad I did. I think AT&T is second to Verizon so I am fine with the second top carrier.

As soon as my new roof is installed I am switching to satellite TV.
