Re: Auto Play
I'm surprised at this recommendation actually. I've had similar experiences with videos playing and freezing my browser. I'm also not necessarily ready to watch a video just because I've opened that page.

Re: Auto Play
I just got rid of a computer that was super slow and I would hate sites with automatic videos because it would basically freeze my browser for a while.  I fixed my problem, but there has to be a number of people out there that are stuck dealling with slow page loading becuase of these videos.

Auto Play
Leverage autoplay functions: Let the video start playing automatically; users now find this acceptable in areas of a website that are video-centric. But keep it on mute, Ooyala advises.

This already has been a very popular option at present. Making sure that auto play runs on mute is a key factor here.

Categorization
Categorize effectively: Content shouldn't just be organized based on genre, or in the way the website receives it from the content provider. It needs to be organized around the specific site users.

Very good point. I have noticed in many websites that this is not the case. General tendency that we see is categorization per genre and that may not be a selling factor for bucnh of the site users who make an attempt to visist the website looking for very specific information.
